RSL Tourney No. 4

The RSL Tourney No. 4 is RSL’s entry-level training option in the Tourney lineup. Designed primarily to offer an affordable alternative to synthetic nylon shuttles, it provides authentic feather flight characteristics at a low price point.

Key Specifications & Characteristics

• Feather Type: Selected duck feathers. They offer genuine feather flight dynamics (such as a natural drop arc and net spin) but feature slightly thinner shafts and vanes than higher goose-feather tiers.

• Base Cork: Sandwich composite cork base, designed to distribute impact evenly and maintain stability over repeated hits.

• Flight & Precision: Functional, reliable flight trajectory suitable for casual games and drills, though with looser tolerances in rotational consistency compared to No. 1–3.

• Durability: Acceptable for general practice; the duck feathers are more susceptible to splitting or fraying under heavy smashes than the goose feathers used in higher-tier models.

Ideal Use Case Best for school programs, beginner training, multi-shuttle feeding drills, and budget-conscious clubs that require a genuine feather feel without breaking the bank on high-end match shuttles.
